The Vanguard Impact Fund
Financial strength is not treated as an end in itself.
Once the institution has met its obligations to present and future students, a defined portion of its available resources will support charitable work through the Vanguard Impact Fund. Founding Families, students, teachers, and alumni may bring forward causes worthy of serious consideration — researched, discussed, evaluated, and presented to the governing board.
No family will be permitted to direct charitable assets for personal benefit or purchase control over the institution’s giving. Every grant will be approved independently, aligned with the school’s charitable purposes, and evaluated according to its likely impact.
